*More details about how EDF are Britain’s biggest generator of zero carbon electricity can be found here. EDF fixed home energy tariffs are backed yearly by 100% zero carbon nuclear electricity as standard. The UK fuel mix disclosure information published by the government (DESNZ) recognises electricity generated from wind, solar and nuclear produces zero carbon dioxide emissions at the point of generation. The zero-carbon electricity purchased is supplied to the National Grid. Customers receive electricity via the National Grid, not directly from zero-carbon generators.
EDF has launched a new tracker tariff £50 below Ofgem’s price cap, providing peace of mind that what customers pay for their energy is guaranteed to beat the cap.
EDF Ensure is a unique one-year, fixed-term tracker tariff with a £25 per fuel discount applied through standing charges, the fixed daily charges levied on customers’ bills, which covers the fixed cost of supplying electricity and gas to homes.
By discounting standing charges as opposed to the unit rates, all EDF customers who sign-up to Ensure will see the same financial benefit, even if they are low energy consumers or on a Pay As You Go meter.

That’s why there are three separate services it can offer electric car drivers: leasing/renting of electric vehicles, installing a charging point for your vehicle at your home and integrating a home energy plan for your car.
Certain tariffs include no exit fees, so be sure to check out the fine print when first signing up.
