Let’s talk about EDF

Why EDF?

  • Excellent customer service - EDF is rated 'Excellent' on Trustpilot
  • Easy, simple and hassle-free - backed by the Energy Switch Guarantee
  • You're with Britain's biggest generator of zero carbon electricity - EDF is busy generating more British zero carbon electricity (*) than anyone to help keep future energy costs down for everyone and help cut UK carbon emission to nothing. That's why they're also helping customers transform their homes with low carbon living solutions like air source heat pumps, solar panels and batteries, and everything you need to change to EVs from petrol or diesel cars.

*More details about how EDF are Britain’s biggest generator of zero carbon electricity can be found here. EDF fixed home energy tariffs are backed yearly by 100% zero carbon nuclear electricity as standard. The UK fuel mix disclosure information published by the government (DESNZ) recognises electricity generated from wind, solar and nuclear produces zero carbon dioxide emissions at the point of generation. The zero-carbon electricity purchased is supplied to the National Grid. Customers receive electricity via the National Grid, not directly from zero-carbon generators.

EDF Ensure

EDF has launched a new tracker tariff £50 below Ofgem’s price cap, providing peace of mind that what customers pay for their energy is guaranteed to beat the cap.
EDF Ensure is a unique one-year, fixed-term tracker tariff with a £25 per fuel discount applied through standing charges, the fixed daily charges levied on customers’ bills, which covers the fixed cost of supplying electricity and gas to homes.

By discounting standing charges as opposed to the unit rates, all EDF customers who sign-up to Ensure will see the same financial benefit, even if they are low energy consumers or on a Pay As You Go meter.

Energy Hub

Join over 600,000 of our customers who are taking control of their energy with the free EDF Energy Hub.

Energy Hub allows you to save cash and carbon by tracking your spend, understanding your usage and reducing your carbon footprint.

Your personalised energy dashboard allows you to view a summary of how much gas and electricity you are using, use your insights to see if there are ways you can be more energy efficient and check if your energy usage has changed - More important now than ever!

Rated 'Excellent' on Trustpilot

They're already powering over 3.7 million homes and services like the NHS, Royal Mail and government; so why not switch today and join their existing customers who have rated them ‘Excellent’ on Trustpilot:

How does EDF help provide for electric car users?

EDF is always eager to encourage its customers to go the extra mile and embrace a new eco-friendly form of transport. That’s why there are three separate services it can offer electric car drivers: leasing/renting of electric vehicles, installing a charging point for your vehicle at your home and integrating a home energy plan for your car.

Do I have to pay an exit fee if I choose to cancel my EDF account?

Certain tariffs include no exit fees, so be sure to check out the fine print when first signing up.
