My baby doesn’t have a passport - can we still travel with Stena Line?
British or Irish citizens travelling on the Irish Sea routes don’t need a passport to travel to Britain or Ireland, but are advised to take some identification to avoid any issues. For kids, a birth certificate is fine; for adults, a driving licence or citizenship card will suffice.
When do I need to check in for my Stena Line journey?
Check in times will vary depending on your route - check your e-ticket to view check in times for your particular journey.
I want to take my pup with me on Stena Line - how do I do this?
You can take your furry friend in your vehicle with you or in the on-board kennel - if you’d like to opt for the kennel, just call in advance to book a suitable size. Your pet will also need a valid Pet Passport to travel. I’m in a wheelchair, can Stena Line cater to my special assistance needs?
Yes - Stena Line can organise extra assistance if you have limited mobility or other special needs. You may be required to travel with an attendant, which is of course free of charge. Get in touch to organise this by calling the customer service team at least 48 hours before your journey.
